Friday Night Pedestrian Struck with Flyout - Police Looking for Information

Owings Mills Volunteers were alerted on Friday, June 7, 2019, at 11:10 PM, for a pedestrian struck by two vehicles on Reisterstown Rd near Doll Ave.

Our volunteers arrived on scene to find a patient who had been hit by one vehicle, and then run over by another. The second vehicle continued and left the scene.

Units from all over Baltimore County, including Pikesville and Garrison, were on scene to assist with moving the patient into emergency medical helicopter transport, Trooper 1.

The patient was flown to a local trauma hospital, where they were immediately taken into surgery.

UPDATE 6/9/2019: WBAL is now reporting that the pedestrian, a 21 year old male, later died at Shock Trauma.

UPDATE: Pics and Video - Flyout at McDonogh School

Just after 3:00pm on Saturday, May 11th, crews from Garrison were dispatched to the McDonogh School (Box 19-1) for a patient that fell off a horse during a riding competition.  As a result of the patient's injuries, the EMS crew requested the Maryland State Police Medevac.

Engine 312 was close by, attending a fundraising event at Teriyaki Madness.  E312 was dispatched to the scene to secure a landing site for Medevac and to assist loading the patient.  This was Engine 312's 4th emergency responses during the fundraiser.
